A new colorway of the Adidas D Rose 5 is set to be launched on November 26, just two days after the D Rose 5 "Chicago Ice" is released.

According to NiceKicks.com, the Adidas D Rose 5 "Woven Blues" will be out as Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls returns to action to lead his team to the top of the Eastern Conference after a two-year hiatus. The "Woven Blues" colorway was inspired by the 20th century African-American urban blues. The navy blue tone can be seen on the upper material that features a basket-weave style. There are also more blue hues on the side panels, heel area, and tongue of the shoes.

Dime Mag reported that the basketball sneakers pay tribute to the thousands of African-Americans that transferred north to look for better jobs in industrial cities like Chicago. Southern blues music was brought by the moving families. The shoes commemorate their exodus in blue Chicago fashion.

In a report by Sole Collector, the D Rose 5 "Woven Blues" feature the new Adidas Boost technology on the midsole, providing great cushioning and comfort for indoor and outdoor ballers. The shoelaces and outsole are grey and there are orange accents and insoles. A white Adidas logo is present on the tongue while D Rose's signature logo appears on the back of the shoe in white. There is a unique panel on the ankle area which seems to provide additional support for softer landings.

The Boost technology is one of the best characteristics of the shoe, providing players with good response and a bouncy feel and smooth transition, based on a report by Adidas.com. The traction is an irregular wave-like pattern with outriggers that allow players to make quick cuts and a variety of ball-handling moves, which is ideal for a fast and explosive guard like Derrick Rose. As far as performance is concerned, the Adidas D Rose 5 is the premiere basketball shoe available for the brand.

In a report by Adidas.com, the Adidas D Rose 5 provides fast energy to basketball players. The SprintWeb technology provides great stability, allowing players to make moves at a high speed. There is also a SprintPlate for added stability. The Torsion System provides smooth heel to toe transition and maintains midfoot integrity. There is also an EVA midsole cage and a non-marking rubber outsole.

The Adidas D Rose 5 "Woven Blues" will be released on Adidas.com and Foot Locker on Wednesday, November 26.
