Can't get enough of the "Candy Crush Saga"? Then get ready for this new treat.

A sequel to the addicting "Candy Crush" game has already been made available for your smartphones. The game is brought by developer King Digital Entertainment.

According to The Huffington Post, the new game called "Candy Crush Soda Saga," was launched on smartphones on Tuesday.

It added that it almost resembles the first "Candy Crush" game as the setting is still in "Candy Kingdom" and players still have to match at least three candies horizontally or vertically.

The game has 135 levels to date but there is a possibility that more levels will be added in the future. The report said that five new levels were added to this sequel. One of which is where a player has to "fill a board with soda by matching new bottle icons." Another one involves "floating gummy bears."

The Wall Street Journal considers the "Candy Crush Saga" as the "world's most successful mobile game to date." It added that the new game was launched amid the company's declining revenue and profit.

A press release that was earlier issued by King Digital Entertainment showed that third quarter profit for the year declined by 38 percent to $141.7 million from $229.8 million recorded in the same period last year.

The company also saw its revenue dropped to $514.4 million, 17 percent lower than the $621.2 million recorded in the same period last year. The amount is also lower than the second quarter revenue for the year by 13 percent.

"The decreases in both gross bookings and revenue from second quarter 2014 to third quarter 2014 were primarily due to lower gross bookings from Candy Crush Saga, which were partially offset by increased gross bookings from our newer games," the statement read.

However, King Digital Entertainment CEO Riccardo Zacconi remains optimistic saying that they will get back on track with the launch of its new games.

"With the launch of two new mobile games during the third quarter as well as the Facebook version of Candy Crush Soda Saga last month, we are continuing to execute on our strategy to develop a portfolio of games for our massive network of players," he said in the statement.

"We have a consistent track record of developing successive hit games and as a result, have increased our non-Candy Crush Saga gross bookings to $264 million in third quarter 2014. If annualized, this represents more than a $1 billion run rate, and makes our non-Candy Crush Saga business larger than most every other mobile gaming company," he added.

In September, the company launched its fourth mobile game for the year. It is called "Diamond Digger Saga." It is also available for iOS and Android users.

King Digital Entertainment claims that it has over 490 million monthly active players. "Candy Crush" monthly users total to more than 340 million.

"Candy Crush Soda Saga" can be downloaded for free in iTunes and Google Play Store
