Taylor Swift has just released her latest video "Blank Space" and many inquiring minds are now searching for more info on that hot guy playing Tay's boyfriend.
Yes, it's agreed - the guy is HOT. Will rumors about him and the "1989" artist falling in love make their way to entertainment headlines in the next couple of days?
Before that happens, if it ever does, there are a couple of things about Sean O'Pry (yes, that's his name) that may make fans and new admirers of the model take a second look. One of those is the fact that he had auditioned for a role in "Fifty Shades of Grey," according to Access Hollywood.
When asked whether he pursued that coveted role of Christian Grey, now played by Jamie Dornan, the 25-year-old said, "I read for it," as noted by the publication.
Judging by his James Dean-esque appearance, the guy certainly looks the part. However, the power-that-be passed him over. Why?
"I think it was more the acting ability at the time," Sean shared. "Congrats to Jamie [Dornan] though. I mean, Jamie's so nice... it was cool to read [for] it."
It looks like the rejection has spurred him to hunker down and improve his skills.
"For the last year, I've been doing serious studies, so it's quite cool. Right now, I'm just studying. Not reading anything or going out on anything - I'm just trying to get better," he explained.
And that seemed to have led him to the lucky opportunity to work with Taylor.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, the model revealed that his manager told him he had "the option to be in a Taylor Swift music video" right after he left an acting class.
He also revealed that the "Blank Space" singer is "one of the only people to ever make me blush."
When asked to explain what he said, this was his response:
"She bit my lip. And I just remember I was really blushing, and I was trying to hide it. But that was the first thing-that was how I met Taylor . . . She did incredibly in the video. She's gorgeous already, but she looks incredible in the video."
So, is there a possibility Sean and Tay might be an item?
When asked whether he still talks to the singer after the shoot ended, he said, "She's doing her thing right now," as noted by E! News.
And when he was asked about his relationship status, he answered, "I plead the fifth."
"The less people know the better," Sean added.
