"NBA Live 15" by EA Sports is finally out. Although it is basically not as good as 2K Sports' "NBA 2K15", there are several key features that will conveniently make it the best NBA Live release in several years.

1. Enhanced visuals

The visuals of "NBA 2K15" is generally better compared to "NBA Live 15", but the latter's have improved significantly compared to prior releases in the franchise. In a report by Examiner.com, most of the player faces are highly detailed and look just like the real one. There are a few players that remain difficult to recognize like Kevin Garnett but the collision detection and great defense animations make it visually appealing.

2. Simple controls

The controls are easy to manage and players report being able to execute great offensive moves easily after practicing them for a while. The controls are not as responsive as players need them to be but are functional as a whole.

3. More options for offense

Players can try a variety of ball handling moves, create plays, and perform highlight dunks and other signature moves. Many players report how fun the game is in multiplayer mode. It has an arcade feel to it which some players might prefer. In a report by ESPN.com, the online mode of "NBA Live 15" is also one of its best features, allowing gamers to recreate actual games and change the outcome any time.

4. NBA Live Ultimate Team

ESPN also reported how fans enjoy the Ultimate Team Mode which allows them to create legendary teams comprised of players from the past and present. They can come up with some of the most powerful teams that could have been in history. According to NBA-Live.com, Fantasy Challenges are provided in Ultimate Team, together with virtual cash.

5. ESPN Presentation

"NBA Live 15" has ESPN integration which was not available in the game's predecessor. Players particularly like the stat presentation as well as the voices of Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Breen that makes the game come to life.

Overall, "NBA Live 15" appears to be much better compared to "NBA Live 14" and several others before that. The offensive game is obviously improved and the visual enhancements make it a delight to play. Based on the same report by Examiner, EA Sports can be a contender if it continues in this direction. The Live Updates also ensure that the game is connected to what is currently happening in the actual league.
