For months the media and consumers alike have been abuzz with anticipation of the release of the iPhone 5. With rumors circling about the upgraded, updated smartphone, expectations grew exponentially. Now that the iPhone 5 has finally been released, consumers are having mixed responses. Here is a look at a number of reactions from the general technology-loving public...

USA Today

- "Apple has become a stagnant company. The only thing big about the iPhone 5 is the hype."
- "All this hype and all [Apple] put out is this? Weak. Really weak."
- "Sorry but Samsung is a whole 'galaxy' ahead of this [iPhone]."

CNET
- "The iPhone has been the top selling individual smartphone each year since it's firs release. And it's not gonna change this year."
- "The iPhone5 is nothing revolutionary. 5 rows of icons? Big friggin deal. Slightly larger screen. Big friggin deal."
- You know everyone has their preference, but iPhone provides a more superior experience when it comes to these things: Reliability, Battery Life, Seamless User Interface, Organization."

PC Magazine
- "So nothing awesome in iPhone 5. It is just an upgraded 4S. No new innovation. [I'm] Disappointed."
- "Wow! After seeing this launch and all the "new" features I can hardly wait...till the Windows 8 phones are released."
- "Where's the amazing new revolutionary product and feature?  Did Tim Cook over-exaggerate what was coming - yep."

As you can tell, the iPhone 5 is receiving mixed reviews. Some hate it, some love it, some are indifferent. Please do us a favor and comment below to tell Latinos Post what you think.
