Halloween is just a scream away, and a lot of costume-hunting has been going on these days. If you're running out of ideas, maybe celebrity-initiated ones will save the day. Here are the 5 best ones from celebrities, so far.

Iggy Azalea

Last year, the "Fancy" rapstress turned heads in her Cruella de Vil ensemble, which included a real, live Dalmatian.

"The Australian star graced the red carpet of Vevo Halloween party dressed as a very convincing Disney Villian Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians," the Daily Mail observed. "The blonde beauty got the evil character - played by Glenn Close in the 1996 film - black and white two tone hair perfectly coiffed adding Cruella's signature pale skin and red lipstick."

Iggy also arrived at the event in a replica of the actual car used by the Disney character, thus upstaging the other attendees. Rawr!

Demi Lovato

The singer was virtually unrecognizable in her zombie costume last year during a Halloween party at her own home, Just Jared noted. She also decorated her home with creepy accessories to complement her attire. MTV described her look this way: "Instead of looking like she'd been buried for years, she went for a freshly-killed look, featuring blood. A lot of blood. She wore a sheer dress and huge black belt, but her clothing takes a major backseat to her amazing makeup. Zombie Demi has severe head and neck wounds, dark, sunken eyes, black lips, and red irises."

Come to think of it, she could have walked on a horror movie set and not look out of place!

Heidi Klum

The supermodel is renowned for her superb Halloween costume choices for many years now. In fact, her look is one of the most anticipated ones every year, considering her reputation. And indeed, she did not disappoint.

Last year, after formerly dressing as a many-armed Hindu goddess, abnormally tall alien, and a person without skin in previous years, she took everyone by surprise by appearing as an old lady.

"The Oscar-winning makeup team responsible for the 40-year-old supermodel's costume made sure to include all the signs of a full life lived: a face full of wrinkles, translucent skin with age spots, and varicose veins on her legs," The Huffington Post said.

"Everything I've done for Halloween doesn't just come from a store," Klum told Mashable. "I don't just pick it up; it's all built."

Michelle Trachtenberg

In 2011, the actress went to Heidi Klum's annual Halloween shindig as the Blue Girl from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Michelle went the whole 9 yards by getting blue body paint, plus a bright orange wig, false lashes, and a striking outfit.

Martha Stewart

The doyenne of homemaking came out in 2008 in a striking Medusa costume, complete with real-looking head of serpents and grayish-white body paint. You can check out her costume here.

Which ones do you think is the best of the lot?
