Resident Evil 6 may be coming out for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but it will be Microsoft Users that get the exclusive content.

Game developer Capcom has announced some of the exclusive content set to release for the Xbox version of the game. The exclusive content includes downloadable modes that will support up to six players at once. The downloadable content will not be available right away but will be released for the 360 over the course of many weeks after the October 2 release of the title. Here are the modes that will come to the Xbox 360.

Survivors Mode

This mode will enable players to hunt down one another in a classic solo or team based battle. When you get killed, you will respawn as an enemy character that can attack human characters. If you take down two human, then you are resurrected to human form. The last man or team standing wins.

Predator Mode

One player will take on the fole of the Ustanak that chases Jake Muller through his campaign. This player must hunt down and eliminate all other human players. The humans must kill the Ustanak player until either the monster or the human survives the session.

Siege Mode

In this mode, people will get to choose to be humans or enemies. If you choose the humans, you must protect a Navy officer, while as the enemy side you must kill that very same NPC. If the Navy officer is alive at the end of the session, the humans win. If he is killed, the enemy side is the victor.

These three modes will only be released for 360, but Capcom is notorious for claiming exclusive content for certain systems and then redistributing the wealth around. Back in 2002, they promised Nintendo exclusive rights to new Resident Evil games. They kept the promise for two games but when they released Resident Evil 4, they distributed to the Playstation 2, Wii, iPhone, iPad, PC, and more. This may simply be a marketing stunt that will eventually find its place on other systems.

Resident Evil 6 will be released on October 2nd for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. There is no word on whether the survival horror action game will release for Nintendo's upcoming Wii U.
