PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers who play "Grand Theft Auto V" will be delighted to gain access to various exclusive rewards and activities.
Rockstar Games made an official announcement that they will be rewarding loyal GTA V gamers for coming back to the improved version of Los Santos and Blaine County by providing several exclusive items. Each free item will be linked to activities that will allow players to view the massive world in a completely different perspective.
Based on Rockstar Games' report, PS3 and Xbox 360 users can expect new events occurring all over the world. They can unlock exclusive new vehicles such as the Dodo seaplane and the Imponte Duke O'Death. Other new vehicles to enjoy include the Cheval Marshall monster truck and a faster and easy-to-control Blimp by Xero Gas. The Story Mode gameplay also gets exciting with a new murder mystery to solve. Another mission involves tracking a mysterious street artist and earning new monkey outfits and a Go Go Monkey Blista.
There will be several new weapons to take advantage of such as the Rail Gun and the Hatchet. GTA V players can also try the Wildlife Photography Challenge, featuring a variety of animal species. Furthermore, the Kraken Sub can be unlocked. There will also be stock car races where gamers can earn custom muscle cars complete with company logos.
Rockstar Games also reported that PS3 and Xbox 360 GTA Online players can conveniently transfer their characters and game progress to the PlayStation 4, PC or Xbox One and pick up where they left off.
Players who pre-order "Grand Theft Auto V" will get an extra $1 million in the game, $500,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online and $500,000 for Story Mode. Those who bought the Collector's Edition or Special Edition in 2013 will also have the items automatically unlocked and accessible when they upgrade to a new system. Some in-game bonuses to expect upon upgrading include bonus outfits, plane trials, tattoos and weapons like the Hammer, Bullpup Shotgun and Pistol .50 for Story Mode. For GTA Online, players can expect custom classic GTA parent characters and the Khamelion electric car.
Transferring to the new system, however, can only be done once. After transferring their character to any of the next-generation consoles, gamers can still play on their PS3 or Xbox 360 but the progress will no longer be transferrable to the new version. PC players will also be getting the exclusive upgrade content.
"The content will be available to returning players on all three platforms", Rockstar Games stated.
