As the first week of the NBA regular season commences, NBA teams have announced their opening day rosters consisting of 15 players, based on a report by USA Today.

Most of the attention was given to the Cleveland Cavaliers featuring the new "Big 3" of the east LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. The supporting cast includes Shawn Marion, Joe Harris, Brendan Haywood, Tristan Thompson, Matthew Dellavedova, Alex Kirk, Mike Miller, Anderson Varejao, AJ Price, Dion Waiters and Lou Amundson (inactive).

LeBron's former team, the Miami Heat, is also set to be a contender in the Eastern Conference. In the same report by USA Today, the Heat includes Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Norris Cole, Luol Deng, Chris Andersen, Mario Chalmers, Shannon Brown, Justin Hamilton, James Ennis, Udonis Haslem, Danny Granger, Shawne Williams, Shabazz Napier, Josh McRoberts (inactive) and Andre Dawkins (inactive).

In a report by Latin Post, the defending champions San Antonio Spurs aims to win their third straight title in the Western Conference with their roster featuring Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Aron Baynes, Jeff Ayres, Matt Bonner, Boris Diaw, Marco Belinelli, Austin Daye, Danny Green, Tony Parker and Cory Joseph. The roster has remained the same since the 2014 Finals except for the addition of rookie Kyle Anderson. They have three players in the inactive list namely Kawhi Leonard, Tiago Splitter and Patty Mills. The Spurs have won five NBA Championships since 1999. 

In a report by NBA.com, the Philadelphia 76ers reduced their roster from 20 to 15 players ahead of the deadline on October 27, 2014. Their lineup consists of Michael Carter-Williams, Alexey Shved, Tony Wroten, K.J. McDaniels, Luc Mbah a Moute, Hollis Thompson, JaKarr Samspon, Jerami Grant, Chris Johnson, Jason Richardson, Brandon Davis, Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel, Henry Sims and Malcolm Thomas.

The return of the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets also excited a lot of fans. The team consists of Al Jefferson, Gary Neal, PJ Hairston, Bismack Biyombo, Gerald Henderson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Jason Maxiell, Brian Roberts, Jannero Pargo, Kemba Walker, Lance Stephenson, Brian Roberts, Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams. Noah Vonleh and Jeffery Taylor are in the inactive list.

The Chicago Bulls were ranked No. 2 by Bleacher Report. Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah will be leading the team. The supporting cast includes Mike Dunleavy, Cameron Bairstow, Taj Gibson, Aaron Brooks, Kirk Hinrich, Nikola Mirotic, Doug McDermott, Tony Snell, Nazr Mohammed, E'Twaun Moore and Jimmy Butler (inactive).
