"NBA Live 15" will be released Tuesday, October 28th, and some are already hyperventilating over this much-anticipated release, given the improvements dangled in fans' faces by EA Sports in the past few months. iDigitalTimes amps the excitement even more with the following observations of the upcoming game:
"The graphics are on par, if not surpass those of NBA 2K15; especially when they get around to face scanning the rest of the league. It's a definite upgrade from NBA Live 14 and has some serious potential."
Now, if only you could get your hands on "NBA Live 15" at a great deal. Well, you can!
If you pre-order the game and get it at midnight, you'll get Ultimate Team currency worth $15 from Gamestop.
Do know that Gamestop isn't the only vendor with the same deal. Best Buy is apparently offering a similar arrangement, as well as Walmart. More choices, more chances of landing that deal.
However, it's advised that you call your retailer of choice ahead of time to check whether they'll be orchestrating a midnight release like the other vendors.
Meanwhile, TrueAchievements said that players who buys the title and "connects online in between October 28th and November 6th will be entitled to $30 worth of NBA LIVE Ultimate Team content for FREE."
"This translates to ten Gold Premium Packs that you will receive as soon as you connect online for the first time. As the game has eight Ultimate Team achievements, these packs are sure to help towards your progress towards those unlocks," the site explained. The trial will reportedly be available for Xbox One users on October 28.
Gamespot said that the $30 deal is for early adopters of the game. What you do is "buy the game between launch on October 28 and November 6, connect to the online servers, and you'll receive the free packs on Xbox One or PS4." There's also a six-hour trial you can download and check out, if you haven't done that already. And also if you're an EA Access subscriber. This should help you figure out whether "NBA Live 15" is indeed better than 2K15.
About the soon-to-be-released game, Bleacher Report said that one of its most "intriguing" features is the fact that it will be relying on "the strength of its servers."
"Most every virtual basketball fan loves the real NBA. Thus, most Live fans will have seen LeBron James go for 30 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists on Tuesday night, and they would be intrigued by the challenge of duplicating this feat on the game shortly after," the news source pointed out. "This year's version promises to bring even more challenges with pertinent detail."
