Renee Zellwegger has one of the most comely faces in Hollywood. Whether she knows that or not is becoming a big question these days after the actress came out from a rumored plastic surgery looking like an entirely different person.
The 45-year-old "Bridget Jones' Diary" star showed up on October 20 at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles looking "dramatically different than usual," describes CBS News.
When she hit the red carpet for the Elle event, the place was literally set ablaze with buzz which also triggered some raised eyebrows, Just Jared observed.
Just Jared also disclosed that Renee came to the event accompanied by her long-time boyfriend, Doyle Bramhall II.
Her different look only fanned rumors that the "Chicago" actress has had plastic surgery. Hollywood Life noted her new look from a positive perspective.
"Renee looks flawless at the event. She looked slightly different from her younger self. Her eyes appear to be larger. Her skin was absolutely glowing, but it did look noticeably line free as well as slightly puffy," described Hollywood Life.
Having felt that all eyes were on here during the event, Zellwegger finally broke her silence two days later.
She told People that she's happy that people are noticing how different she looks these days.
"I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows, Renee told People in an interview.
Referring to talks and rumors about her new appearance as "silly," Renee said that she has to say her piece about it.
"It seems the folks who come digging around for some nefarious truth which doesn't exist won't get off my porch until I answer the door," she said to People.
"My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time, I wasn't doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn't allow for taking care of myself," Renee pointed out.
"Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things," she explained further.
Hollywood Life also said in the same report that this is not the first time that Zellwegger has been rumored to have had work done on her. Last year, she was reported to have undergone the knife too because she came out too skinny.
