The battle rounds continue on NBC's Emmy award-winning music competition, "The Voice." In part 3 of the battle rounds, Adam Levine teamed up with Stevie Nicks, Blake Shelton teamed up with Little Big, Pharell Williams with Alicia Keys, and Gwen Stefani with her hubby, Gavin Rossdale.

Competition is even more fierce, but part 3 of the battle rounds is as competitive for the judges as it was for contestants, considering that there were three steals in total over the course of the episode.

The highlights started with Blake's awesome steal from Gwen, telling a grateful Jessie Pitts that she is "so unique" and that he thought she is "going to win this thing!"

Then Gwen and Adam went head-to-head in stealing two other contestants, Blessing Offer from Team Pharrell, and Toia Jones.

Adam told Blessing, "My wife's name is Behati, which in Swahili means Blessing, so it makes me love you a lot more."

Unfortunately for Gwen, both Blessing and Toia chose Adam as their mentor.

Entertainment Weekly came up with the list of bests and worsts of the night, saying that the best performance went to DaNica Shirey and Toia Jones for their rendition of "Halo," followed by Matt McAndrew and Ethan Butler's own version of Coldplay's "Yellow."

The oddest song choice went to Blessing Offor and Katriz Trinidad's rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Do I Do," which put both contestants at a disadvantage considering that Kariz had to take on a song that she was not very comfortable with; while Blessing, who was compared to Wonder at some point, had to live up with very high expectations. Katriz may have won the round, but Adam used his first steal of the night for Blessing, mainly because his wife, Behati's name means blessing in another language.

But perhaps, the biggest disappointment of the evening was that nobody tried to steal Kelli Douglas, making it seem like she failed because of her coach's song choice, which fit better for Damien than Kelli.

But there's really nothing much you can do about that, the coaches are already probably saving their steals for when things do get real (it did later on in the show, with Adam's two steals).

This isn't the last of the Battles, though. Another 12 artists will compete in the next episode, and then, it's time for the knockout rounds.

What do you think of this episode, though?

The next of the Battle Rounds will air on Tuesday at 8 PM on NBC.
