The highest-paid athlete in the world just got richer and spent thousands at a Los Angeles strip club.

According to the Daily Mail, Floyd Mayweather won $1.4 million after betting $815,000 on an NFL game between the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets. Mayweather sided with the Broncos, and won over 7.5 points to almost double his investment.

In a span of three weeks, the undefeated champion reportedly raked in about $3.2 million by betting on the NFL. He previously won by betting on both the Seattle Seahawks and the Indianapolis Colts.

To celebrate his winnings, reports say Mayweather and his crew went to Sam's Hofbrau, a strip club in downtown L.A. to throw cash in the air and at the dancing girls. TMZ.com notes that the boxer only spent a little at the famous nude bar. Ordinarily, Floyd can spend over $100,000 at a strip club but on October 14, 2014, he only paid $30,000.

A video posted by Mail Online featured the world's best pound-for-pound boxer wearing a red cap and black t-shirt and making it rain cash on the dancers and other patrons. It was customary for Floyd to throw cash while partying.

Word of advice from 50 Cent

Mayweather apparently ignored former friend 50 Cent's comments during the rapper's recent interview with XXL magazine.

In the interview, 50 Cent reportedly said, "I don't have bad intentions for Floyd... I don't want to see him lose. I don't go to sleep and wake up like, 'I hope you f*cking lose, stupid.' No, I already got past that when I said what I said. I'm already done dealing with that right there. I want him to win as much as he can in his life and also change the sh*t that he got going on. So he can continue to be productive. But what I'm saying to him is right and he's going to figure that out over time. The lifestyle that is going on at the present moment is just not sustainable..."

He added, "He didn't do the right things to present him to the public properly, so there's a limit as to what he can do for promotional purposes. They keep it in that little pocket of things that they would do for traditional boxing stuff. Because where he's at right now in boxing, there should be no one that you can look at that should be comparable to him."

When they were still good buddies, Mayweather and 50 Cent would hit strip clubs together. This time, however, the boxer put off commenting on 50 Cent's interview to watch strippers with other friends.
