Ben Affleck seems to be everywhere these days, and after the successful reception of his last movie, "Gone Girl," the actor-director is set to finish up another project as the rich vigilante in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Cinema Rant has said that although a lot of people protested his role, Affleck was quick to reassure that this one will be better than his last attempt as a superhero. After all, "Daredevil" failed so miserably that's why fans of the caped crusader automatically protested his involvement in the latest superhero movie.

But it is not only the fans who regretted ever watching "Daredevil". Affleck had his regrets too, and playing a poorly-executed film of the superhero was one of them.

He said in an interview with NPR, "Indeed I have regrets about 'Daredevil.' I have regrets about all the movies that I don't think were executed properly. ... Look, if I thought we were remaking 'Daredevil,' I'd be out there picketing myself ... and that goes for other movies as well that I haven't been happy with. You know, I'm hard on myself and I have exacting standards and I want to do excellent work and I don't always succeed, but I think you have to start out with that drive."

For the new film's writer and director, he only had praises as he admitted to feeling more confident about the production. He said, ['Batman v Superman'] was written by Chris Terrio, who wrote Argo, who's not a comic guy. And it's directed by Zach Snyder, who's a incredibly magical sort of visual stylist who's steeped in the comic world. And you have this sandwich of talents. I felt very confident about it. ... I thought it would be nice to make one of these movies really, really good."

"Batman v Superman" will be a star-studded film, as noted by Flickering Myth,  with the likes of big stars acting alongside Affleck. In team Batman, Gal Gadot will star as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.

On the otherside, Camp Superman has Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Harry Lennix as General Swanwick.

Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, and Scoot McNairy will also star in the film in yet-to-be-revealed roles.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
