Samsung announced late in September that the Galaxy Note 4, its flagship phablet, would be officially released to the Philippine market on October 25.

But, even this early, the device has already been made available in the country by online gadget merchants like Widget City and Kimstore for a price below Php35,000, notes Yugatech..

Widget City is selling the Galaxy Note 4 for Php33,900, while Kimstore priced the Samsung flagship phablet at Php34,999.

The two online sellers obviously put one up on the competition in the local market. After all, there is still no substitute to the feeling and pride of owning a new device ahead of its scheduled arrival in local retail stores.

The Korean tech giant has calendared the release dates of its flagship phablet in the South and Southeast Asia regions. The Philippines is actually the third to the last country in Southeast Asia for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's market launch scheduled on October 25, just a few days ahead of Laos and Indonesia,Yugatech said in another report.

Galaxy Note 4 comes in the 5.7-inch screen but Samsung has made it even better by using a Quad HD Super AMOLED (2,560 x 1,440 resolution) technology that stretches to 500 pixels per inch.

"The precise color saturation and the high contrast of the display will drive users to feel the fluent and vivid color as if they are looking with the naked eye," Samsung boasts.

With high resolution comes tremendous viewing experience, making it truly ideal for web-browsing and e-booking, Samsung added.

Expertreviews reported that Samsung has also bonded in the screen a 2.5D bevelled front glass panel with edges and corners that protrude upwards from the phone giving it the "floating appearance."

Just like iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy Note 4 comes in two variants, according to the Expertreviews report. The first variant makes use of Samsung's own Exynos 5433 octa-core CPU, with four cores running at 1.9GHz and four cores running at 1.3GHz, while the second model uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core chip - making it the first Android handset to do so.
