The Amanda Bynes saga should be turned into a movie by now, considering that she seems to have more drama than Lindsay Lohan and Shia LaBeouf combined.

The actress, who was arrested on Sunday for DUI and possible possession of drugs, has not been seen since, and her parents, Rick and Lynn, have no idea about the whereabouts of their troubled daughter.

When asked about Amanda, Rick told X17Online that he had no idea where his daughter is, considering that he hasn't seen her since she moved to Orange County.

He told the website, "We know nothing about [her arrest]. We were called by the press. I'm getting calls all day long."

He added, "Nobody from the cops called us. I know nothing, and the police don't seem to know much, so I don't know." He also said that he hasn't seen his daughter presumably because she has been in school in Irvine campus of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

Asked to guess, he assumed that his daughter would have been in New York, although he clarified that "I didn't hear it. But I know she likes New York, so that is what I am thinking."

The 28-year-old "Easy A" star has been charged with misdemeanor by the California Highway Patrol Officers and was deemed to be "under the influence of an unknown drug," said a report from Yahoo!

Rumors have been going on that Amanda's mental health issues stemmed from her failure to take prescribed medication, but her lawyer, Tamar Arminak, already debunked that myth in April, telling Yahoo! that "Amanda does not have schizophrenia, nor has she ever been diagnosed with it. [Amanda] currently is on zero medication. She's devoted to living her life as healthy as possible. She's never had a history of abusing alcohol or hard drugs, and she's proud to say she's been marijuana-free for the past nine months."

A source for Hollywood Life, however, refused to believe her lawyer, saying that "Not only is Amanda in denial over the severity of her ongoing problems, but so is her family."

The source, who is close to the actress said, "It's not a shock that she was picked up by the cops ... again. It was only a matter of time. There's this shame attached to mental illness, so unfortunately it's not treated and it only gets worse. If Amanda was a diabetic, wouldn't she be given the proper treatment? Of course she would."

Yahoo! reports that the former Disney star is due in court on October 23, but it is looking bad for her because she has served less than a year of her probation following the DUI arrest from last February that could result in actual jail time.

Are you surprised that Amanda is off her wagon so soon?
