2K Sports continues to release 100 NBA player ratings for every 5000 new followers on its Twitter account, @NBA2K. The countdown began from No. 424 while the latest revelation featured ranking No. 40 to 31. Users may use the hashtag #NBA2KRank to talk about the rankings.

At No. 40 and 39 are Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs and Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks with a rating of 83. From No. 38 down to 32 are Deron Williams of the Brooklyn Nets, Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets, Lance Stephenson of the Charlotte Hornets, Zach Randolph of the Memphis Grizzlies, Serge Ibaka of the OKC Thunder, Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat and Goran Dragic of the Phoenix Suns, all with a rating of 84. In the new list, Paul Mishap of the Atlanta Hawks had the highest player rating at 85, garnering the number 31 spot.

In the last list, Mike Conley of the Grizzlies, Brook Lopez of the Nets and Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons garnered the No. 41, 42 and 43 spots respectively, all three with a rating of 83. The 44th to 50th spots all had a rating of 82 and included Rudy Gay of the Sacramento Kings, Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala of the Golden State Warriors, Pau Gasol of the Chicago Bulls, Monta Ellis of the Dallas Mavericks, Jrue Holiday of the New Orleans Pelicans and Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Hornets.

According to Fansided, other notable players in the released list include Jamal Crawford and DeAndre Jordan of the Clippers with a rating of 80 and 81 respectively. The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to be among the most formidable teams in the lineup, with a number of players rated over 80 and either Griffin or Paul getting 90 or above. Other stars to watch out for include Joe Johnson of the Nets, Paul Pierce and Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards, Eric Bledsoe of the Phoenix Suns and Bradley Beal with a rating of 81.

In a report by Barstoolsports.com, 2K Sports previously announced that only four players will have a rating of 90 and over in the upcoming game. Reigning MVP Kevin Durant was revealed to have a rating of 95 while veteran Tim Duncan was given a 90. Experts highly speculate that LeBron James would be included in the exclusive list. The last spot might be for Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul or Kevin Love.
