It looks like nude celebrity photo hackers hate feminists.

In a recent update, it has been reported that actress Emma Watson is being targeted by certain 4chan members threatening to release her nude images "in retaliation for her speech where she announced that she was a feminist," according to The Telegraph. The said individuals are reportedly the same ones behind last month's massive iCloud celebrity nude photo leak.

The British publication noted that U.S. site Gawker had quoted posts, which were already deleted as of this writing, that reveal the timing of the photo release is not a coincidence and that it is, in fact, a response to her UN speech.

It is said that the alleged pictures will be uploaded in five days' time. An image showing the actress wiping away a tear with a digital timer next to it counting down to the appointed day has been created and named "Emma You Are Next."

"She makes stupid feminist speeches at UN, and now her nudes will be online," the news source quoted one of the comments.

"However, while it's not outlandish to claim that Emma Watson may have fallen victim to the same iCloud security exploit that has affected other female celebrities, it's likely that the countdown site is nothing more than a prank designed to increase the notoriety of anonymous message board 4chan," Business Insider observed. The site also said it's has never been specified what the countdown exactly is for.

What did the "Harry Potter" star say that irked the hackers?

"I decided I was a feminist and this seemed uncomplicated to me," the actress, who studied at Brown and Oxford universities, was quoted by Vanity Fair as saying. "Why is the word such an uncomfortable one? I am from Britain and think it is right that as a woman I am paid the same as my male counterparts."

"I think it is right that I should be able to make decisions about my own body. I think it is right that women be involved on my behalf in the policies and decision-making of my country. I think it is right that socially I am afforded the same respect as men. But sadly I can say that there is no one country in the world where all women can expect to receive these rights," she also said.

Perhaps it's that passage right there that got the attention of the notorious hackers.

It can be recalled that the 24-year-old had condemned last month's iCloud breach, as well as the "lack of empathy shown by social media users over the breach of privacy," as noted by The Independent.

The hackers are probably targeting her for that, too.
