Avid collectors of the Air Jordan Future series will be looking forward to a new color release on September 17.

Initially, sneakerheads discovered previews of a new Jordan Future which featured a camouflage appearance, with the olive and green patterns on the woven upper. Sneaker News writes that the tiger camo patterns are officially made available through Air Jordan Future "Black/Metallic Gold". Similar to previous Jordan Future models, the pair will include gold accents such as the gold Jumpman logo on the tongue, and the gold aglets. The outsole of the shoes also features gum-like tones on the ball and heel portions. There is a gum-like Jumpman underneath the translucent black sole as well.

The outsole of the Jordan Future "Metallic Black" is translucent black. The midsole and carbon fiber are also solid black. The upper features the tiger camo pattern in 3M underlay. The gold tone is reflective because of the 3M material, so the appearance of the sneakers changes depending on the angle and the light reflections on the shoe. The tongue, laces and insole are solid black. According to Nice Kicks, the Jordan Future focuses on a minimalist design, with only a one-piece upper and the full-length air outsole.

Similar to previous versions of the Jordan Future, the upper is woven, providing maximum comfort. The wearer's foot is properly cushioned by the soft upper while the sole is supported by tough carbon fiber. The upper material and unique positioning of the laces on the inner part of the foot also provide a snug fit. The Jordan Future's shape was highly inspired by the popular Jordan XI, which explains the midsole and outsole have striking similarities to the original pair. The Jordan Future line caters more towards casual users and collectors.

In a report by Jordansdaily.com, the Air Jordan Future "Metallic Black" will be available at a retail price of $150. Selected sneaker boutiques and retail stores will be offering the pair on September 17, such as Nike.com and Eastbay.com. Foot Locker, Finish Line and Flight Club will be offering the pair as well. Sneakerheads can also stay tuned to @nicekicks, @solecollector and @Jumman23 on Twitter to get the latest updates and store mechanics depending on their area. Some stores will release the pair limitedly and may require buyers to RSVP or enter their names in a raffle to get a chance to buy the Air Jordan Future "Metallic Black" in their size.
