Some have noted that Lea Michele and Broadway star Idina Menzel share similar physical features, not to mention singing and acting talents. And now, it appears Lea will figuratively acknowledge all these with the revelation that the "Glee" star will be performing the song on the hit series.

"Lea Michele will sing 'Let It Go,' the hit song from Disney's 'Frozen,' during the final season of the Fox program," Time reported. "It's a fitting choice considering Idina Menzel, the song's original singer, played the mother of Michele's character on the show."

According to Hollywood Life, the actress hinted on September 12 via Twitter that she will be tackling the well-loved song on the show. Her tweet came with a photo having this caption: "I don't care.. What they're going to say.. Let the storm rage on.. The cold never bothered me anyway..."

"The singer wasn't in Elsa's signature blue gown, but she was wearing a sparkly gown fit for a queen," the entertainment news source noted.

Time observed that this will be the second time that a part of the hugely successful movie will be featured on the small screen. It can be recalled that a number of key "Frozen" characters will be included in the forthcoming season of fantasy-themed TV series, "Once Upon a Time."

Aussie actress Georgina Haig had been cast to play the Snow Queen in the fourth season of "OUAT", although the live-action Elsa will reportedly not be doing any musical numbers. Well, Lea has that covered!

"The instant classic won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Original Song. We are absolutely certain that Lea will kill it onstage," Hollywood Life opined.

TVLine noted that the cast of "Glee" have "been doing quite a bit of tweeting over the past few days," although the final season won't premiere until 2015. We're thinking they'e just making sure that the "Glee" bonfire stays hot until next year.

This update about Lea performing "Let It Go" comes days after it was reported that the actress is allegedly allowing her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz into her Hollywood home, The Daily Mail said.

"A source close to Lea revealed that Matthew moved into her home over the weekend after just four months of dating," the British publication said. "The television star has been slowly moving on since the sudden passing of Cory Monteith, who died July last year after overdosing on heroin and alcohol in a Canadian hotel room."

The pair had met while shooting her music video for "On My Way." The hunk was cast in the said project.

Looks like they're not letting go of each other just yet.
