Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom Update: Lamar 'Very Happy' with KK, French Montana Breakup

Former LA Lakers player Lamar Odom is reportedly "most definitely" happy that ex-wife Khloe Kardashian has broken up with boyfriend French Montana, raising hopes that the two may be on their way to a reconciliation.

In an interview with HollywoodLife.com, an unnamed insider said: "It makes it that much easier for him to get back with her and be her husband. He wasn't too fond of that rapper anywway and he thought he was a sucker -- Khloe's rebound man."

News about Khloe and French's split broke out in early September, with People.com writing that Kris Jenner's daughter may have hinted at a breakup through an Instagram post much earlier. The post quoted poet Robert M. Drake as such: "Maybe one day we'll find that place where you and I could be together. And we'll catch our dreams within the waves of change. So smile for me one last time and believe that we'll meet again. Until then, I'll be missing you." While the reasons for the breakup have not been confirmed, the Kardashian camp said that the relationship just wasn't working out.

There have been rumors that French may have been cheating on her. "Khloe does not want to come off like the victim in this but there were huge questions about French's loyalty. She just doesn't believe that he's faithful to her and she's not going to stick around to be humiliated, the way she did with Lamar," a source told the website. 

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old Lamar is reportedly reveling in the possibility that he and Khloe will be together again. "Real love always wins in the end. He knew that wasn't going to last. French was there so she could get her mind off Lamar. We all know that. He did his job, played the role he was supposed to play and now he's gone. Just like that." 

And the possibility is highly likely to happen. In an earlier article by Hollywood Life, Kris Jenner is reportedly "worried sick" that her daughter will jump back into a relationship with her ex-husband. The two divorced in the end of 2013.

According to the source quoted by the publication, Kris has always feared a reunion would happen but she wants Khloe to enjoy being single and allow time to heal.
