UFC President Dana White had to tell women's champion Ronda Rousey to "calm down".

According to Yahoo! Sports, Rousey demanded to fight Bethe Correia. At the recent UFC 177, Correia annihilated Rousey's buddy Shayna Baszler. Baszler belongs to the Four Horsewomen which is headed by Ronda Rousey. Previously, Correia stated that she aims to completely defeat all its members.

In a report by the Los Angeles Times, the Brazilian called out Rousey on August 30 after beating Baszler via technical knockout in the second round. Correia forced Baszler against the cage and dominated with punches. At the end of the fight, she told the audience that her victory was a challenge to bantamweight champion Rousey. Correia said, "I want to have a shot at Ronda at some point."

Rousey was quick to respond. According to Dana White, "As soon as [Correia] started talking, Ronda texted me and said, 'I want that fight. I want it before somebody else beats her.'" White had to tell Rousey, "Calm down lady. You've got other people to fight. We'll figure it out". He added, "There's a long list for Rousey waiting right now, so we'll see what happens."

Correia is ranked at No. 10 so there are still several female fighters that will make an interesting matchup against Rousey. Cat Zingano is highly favored to face the women's champ in January 2015. White is also eyeing on signing former champion Gina Carano to create a mega-fight between the two beauties. Other contenders include Holly Holm and Cris "Cyborg" Justino.

Bleacher Report writes that Rousey is expected to win a possible match against Correia. Rousey has history of seeking revenge for fallen teammates or protégés.  At UFC 168, she easily knocked out Alexa Davis in 16 seconds, so fans expect the "Expendables 3" star to make little work out of a rank 10 fighter. Correia may have set high goals for herself, but experts believe that she does not have the skills or strategy to defeat one of the potentially greatest female fighters ever to enter the UFC. Aiming for second place might be a better bet for the Brazilian.

Rousey is under rehabilitation after undergoing minor knee surgery. She is expected to return to the Octagon in January 2015. She aims to have a card at UFC 182, which will possibly feature Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier in the main event.
