Sunday this week must have been a very bad day for many of Tinseltown's prettiest talents. A hacker managed to illegally acquire photos of Jennifer Lawrence, and many other actresses and celebrities, and post them on various social media sites. The said images went viral and trended soon afterwards, which is not surprising due to the fact that the pictures showed the ladies in all their near naked or fully nude glory.

News outlets picked up on the leak and reported on it, which is only natural when an incident of this magnitude - as well as the inclusion of some of the most recognizable faces on the planet - happens. However, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton apparently made a media faux pas by posting the hacked nude photos of the "American Hustle" star, along with his report on the shocking event.

Given the fact that J-Law, through her publicist, had somehow admitted that the photos are hers through a statement, and are thus indeed real, she must be placing the blogger on her black list as we speak.

He has since apologized for this blunder, though, according to CNN. He also later took down the photos in question, which could work in his favor in the future. Or is it too late now that he had already added fuel to the raging fire?

"Upon further reflection and just sitting with my actions, I don't feel comfortable even keeping the censored photos up. I am removing them," Hilton tweeted.

"At work we often have to make quick decisions. I made a really bad one today and then made it worse. I feel awful and am truly sorry," he continued in another tweet.

"I acted in haste just to get the post up and didn't really think things through. I'm sorry," his other post read. "No, I haven't been forced to do so or been contacted by their reps, but I am removing those uncensored photos of JLaw and Victoria Justice."

According to Mashable, the blogger first posted some of the uncensored naked images which had been leaked by the 4chan hacker. Then, he later changed with the censored versions. After a further change of heart, he removed all of the leaked photos.

Jennifer was not the only celebrity whose private photos were illegally acquired by the hacker, an event that is still under investigation by the FBI and Apple as of Monday, according to NBC News. The likes of Kirsten Dunst, Kate Upton, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Victoria Justice, and Hope Solo were among those involved in the leak, although it still "wasn't clear which ones were authentic."
