Soon after the first whiffs of a Jennifer Lawrence-Chris Martin romance escaped, entertainment publications snapped up the story and never let go. Well, perhaps it didn't help that the newly-minted couple gave them something to feed on, even though they're just little tidbits, like them enjoying the sight of a sunset together, sans PDA or attention-seeking hoopla.

The first news of the Coldplay frontman seeing the Oscar-winning actress emerged in June. And now, it looks like the pair have seen each other again for a "romantic afternoon", albeit at a private location - Wolffer Estate Vineyard in New York - where people didn't really recognize them, E! News revealed.

"They were there on a date," an insider told the publication. It reportedly happened about two weeks ago, just a few days before J-Law's August 15 birthday, which was when she turned 24.

"They were very low-key, nobody realized who they were," the mole added. "The setting was super-romantic. They watched the sun go down together, then quietly left."

The source also noted that the two were believed to have sampled the wines.

The young actress' pairing with the 37-year-old Chris "may seem like an unusual coupling," The Daily Mail observed. However, it looks like estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow appears to be fine with the two being romantically linked to each other.

"Her take is, 'Hey, he could do worse,'" a source reportedly told Us Weekly. "She just wants him to be happy."

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life speculated whether the two will indeed share a happy ever after, as the father-of-two may be "too boring" for her. A source suggested she found her rumored ex Nicholas Hoult as "too reserved" for her taste.

"Jen just says what she feels and we're a bit more reserved as a family," said Clarista Hoult, the British actor's sister.

However, it looks like it will be a bit different this time, as an insider revealed that Jen's easygoing ways are precisely what made the rocker fall for her.

"She's the anti-Gwyneth," a source was quoted as saying by RadarOnline. "[Lawrence] is not so rigid, and Chris is responding to that."

"He's enjoying being with someone carefree. He's smiling again. Genuinely," the mole added.

"The Coldplay frontman, 37, first had eyes for the 24-year-old Oscar winner at the 2013 Met Gala, when he was Gwyneth Paltrow's plus one," the site said. "The couple re-met after 'The Hunger Games' star attended Coldplay's July 1 London show, when she had already split with Nicholas Hoult and he was estranged from Paltrow."

"That's when sparks flew," the source revealed.

We'll know soon enough if the sparks are enough to light up a fire that lasts.
