His first kiss would have been supermodel Cara Delevingne. And we mean the cinematic kind.

Recently, it was revealed that Hollywood mega-producer Harvey Weinstein had offered the One Direction singer a role in "Tulip Fever," which had a cast consisting of no less than Judi Dench, Christoph Waltz and Zach Galifianakis. However, the British heartthrob turned the role down. It was later picked up by "Glee" actor Matthew Morrison, The Daily Mail reported.

Is it because Harry is simply not keen on becoming a movie star? Or is it because he doesn't want to be embroiled in romantic complications given that Cara was rumored to be one of his former real life love interests?

"'I offered Harry a role in 'Tulip Fever' but he was touring so he had to turn it down," Weinstein said. "The part ended up going to Matthew Morrison and let me tell you this, the very first scene he shot was one of him kissing Cara Delevingne."

"So I'm sure Harry won't be turning be down the next role I offer him," he jokingly added.

Hmm, we're not sure about that last bit. What do you think, Directioners?

The producer then went on to explain why he offered the singer an acting part.

"He's like Errol Flynn, he's got that swashbuckling charm. Definite star potential. I think he'd be great. No question," Weinstein revealed.

Well, we better believe him with that - the studio executive is known for his sharp business acumen and knack for producing theatrical and cinematic hits, such as "Shakespeare in Love," "Django Unchained," and "Silver Linings Playbook." He must certainly know what he's talking about.

So, what's this film all about, by the way?

"Tulip Fever' is set in 17th-century Amsterdam and centers on an illicit love affair between an older artist and his wealthy young muse," Hello! Explained. Interestingly, the film also includes Cressida Bonas, Prince Harry's ex ladylove.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell, One Direction's discoverer and manager, had said that the group might break up "after just two more albums," according to Yahoo! Celebrity. When asked whether the split is due to Harry pursuing solo projects, the music mogul denied this and said that this possibility won't happen for a while, although he said he's sure they all will eventually do just that.

When that time comes, will Harry finally say yes to a Harvey Weinstein-produced movie, aside from pushing a solo album?

That remains to be seen.
