Although the name of these ogle-worthy kicks may be a mild tongue twister, it does not reduce the appeal of these shoes. That's because they're customizable, which means you can create Nikes that don't exactly look like any other. Isn't that u-n-i-q-u-e?

"The Jordan Spizike combines the iconic elements of the Jordan III, IV, V, VI and XX," the footwear's official description on the Nike website read. "Customizable from top to bottom, the Jordan Spizike iD now comes with the denim upper of your choice: regular or '80s-inspired bleached. The '80s theme continues with a neon-elephant graphic option and glow-in-the-dark options on the outsole, midsole and lace."

The customizable feature comes at a price, though. It retails at an eye-popping $210, which is higher than the usual price range of most, if not all, Nike footwear. But then, you get a pair that, at the very least, won't look like the ones on the feet of that guy on the next block or on the other team. Do know that once you order your own custom kicks this Tuesday, August 19, which is when these babies drop on Nike's online store, you'll need to wait about 4 weeks or 30 days (or less) for your new shoe collection additions to arrive.

While there have been previous iterations of the Jordan Spizike, which was inspired by director Spike Lee's Mars Blackmon ads for Nike, what makes these new models different and better is that there are more options to work with.

"That hybrid Jordan model will be upgraded with some denim options available in either a regular indigo or an 80s-style bleached look," Sneaker News observed.

To customize, simply head over to the Nike site and click on any of the suggested colorways under the "Start with an Inspiration" heading. The whole process is really easy and user-friendly, as it only takes a couple of clicks for you to switch colors or change material and other design details in order to achieve the look that you want for your Jordan Spizikes. You can use new cork, add paint speckles to the midsole, and even pick out an outsole (translucent or solid) for your kicks.

Start putting together the combo you want for yourself right now in preparation for the launch. You can get photos of your mock ups and send them over to friends for a second opinion, if you want to make sure your customization efforts are on the right track.
