Is Chris Brown trying to win his old girlfriend back? No, we are not talking about Karrueche Tran, who reportedly dumped the former jailbird for his wild ways. We are talking about Rihanna, whom Daily Mail said the R&B bad boy is currently wooing.

Brown, who has finished serving prison time following his violation on his probation from a 2009 domestic assault case involving the "Diamonds" singer, was seen at his ex-girlfriend and Eminem's Monster Tour gig at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. Rihanna and Eminem are currently touring together, and last week delighted a crowd of 90,000 with their hits.

A source told Daily Mirror, "Chris turned up to the second show and watched it from the crowd, but he made his way backstage after the gig was finished to be closer to Rihanna. He was making a huge effort to see her and be seen with her again. He's been texting her loads since he got out of prison last month and she is part of the reason he broke up with Karrueche. He's drawn to her and believes that they're meant to be together.

Jessica Valenti for The Guardian  is among the many people who have been cringing about the cycle women go through with their current or former lovers. She said in her piece that despite the women experiencing some form of brutality from their former or current lovers, women sadly still go back.

Quoting Rihanna's interview with Oprah for her "Next Chapter" special, the Grammy awardee told the host, "I lost my best friend - like everything I knew switched in a night, and I couldn't control that. So, I had to deal with that and that's not easy for me to understand, interpret and it's not easy to interpret on camera, not with the world watching."

"Survivors of domestic violence coming forward and using technology to tell their stories will only be safe, and their tactics effective, if we - the viewers - believe them. We have to, as a society and as individuals, stop protecting abusers and believing their protestations out of hand simply because they're famous, or charming - or because we've decided their victims aren't sympathetic enough (as though anyone could be). It's time to stop making excuses," she wrote.

Although Rihanna certainly made legal steps to protect herself from Brown following that horrific assault in 2009 that left her physically and emotionally bruised, we are just hoping that the singer would move forward, even though Brown might show some signs of change in him.
