The world is still reeling from the loss of one of the most talented comedians of today. So much so that talk about his passing and various kinds of tributes continue on and off cyberspace. One of them is Blizzard Entertainment's decision to heed a Change.org petition and memorialize him in World of Warcraft, a popular MMO game.

"Williams was an avid gamer, and a particular fan of the Nintendo franchise 'The Legend of Zelda'," Business Insider noted.

"Thank you. You gave us so much joy in our lives, and we hope you enjoyed your time in our world. We'll see you in-game," said a tweet posted in the "World of Warcraft" Twitter account.

And now, it has been revealed that the Emmy Awards is also planning to pay homage to the deceased star, who first shot to fame on the late 70s TV sitcom "Mork & Mindy."

"Plans for the In Memoriam segment are in discussion," a statement released by executive producer Don Mischer said. "While we are all still coming to terms with this week's tragic news, we are working to give Robin Williams the proper and meaningful remembrance he so well deserves."

"It's about what can we do to properly remember Robin and create perhaps an emotional moment about him," Rolling Stone also quoted Mischer as saying.

"Typically, the In Memoriam section of the ceremony pays tribute to personalities in front of and behind the camera who died over the previous 12 months," People explained. "Award show producers are accustomed to making last-minute additions to segment, like when the Grammys in 2012 honored Whitney Houston, who died the day before the CBS telecast."

In addition, the news source also speculated that many of the presenters at the ceremony may share their own memories of the funnyman.

"One of Williams's greatest accomplishments on the small screen that also garnered an Emmy nomination was his work hosting the Comic Reliefspecials for HBO that helped the homeless," People added. "Williams, along with Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg, helped to raise more than $80 million from the 14-plus concerts, according to founder Bob Zmuda."

Zmuda offered a reason for Williams not being picked as a host for either the Oscars or the Emmys. "He's so improvisational. They would never be able to get one award off. He would riff throughout the show. If you watch some of the Comic Reliefs, sometimes Whoopi would go put her hand over Robin's mouth, or they couldn't get the next act out there to perform," he explained.

Additionally, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has already hinted at including the 63-year-old actor in their own tribute next year. "Monday evening it Tweeted a screen-shot from Disney's Aladdin, in which the Genie - voiced by Williams - hugs Aladdin. The image was accompanied by a message from the Academy that read: 'Genie, you're free,'" Deadline said.
