Lakers Roster: Jeremy Lin Dunks Over His Family [Watch Video]

Jeremy Lin seems to be practicing his dunks early for the upcoming NBA season as he joins the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lin recently shared a video of himself on Instagram, which has generated almost 45,000 likes, so far. The video featured the point guard dunking on members of his family three times, including one in what appears to be a kitchen with his mother.

The first dunk featured a woman (possibly his sister-in-law, but we're not sure) walking peacefully in the neighborhood and Jeremy's brother walking past her while holding a small basketball ring and glass backboard. The latter stood behind her and positioned the ring just over her head, wherein Lin suddenly appeared in the screen to dunk a small basketball over her.

The second scene featured Lin jumping over someone on the bed while the latter was sleeping in a bedroom.

And if you think those two were funny, the last will get you laughing so hard. The last scene had Jeremy's mom quietly doing some thing in the kitchen, oblivious of what would be happening next, when his brother playfully enters the room and bends down. A ring popped up from behind Mrs. Lin, held by another family member then Lin finally appeared, jumping over his brother and dunking right over his mother with authority. The three guys celebrated the monster dunk as if it were an All-Star Weekend winner.

According to CBS Sports, the video was created by Jeremy Lin to grab the attention of fans and celebrate his so-called "fan appreciation week". Lin asked fans to do the same and make their own creative and funny dunk videos for a chance to win a pair of autographed sneakers.

A newly signed Laker, Lin just returned from a family trip in Taipei, Taiwan. He had the opportunity to spend time with fans, as well as address some issues concerning his future with the Lakers after being traded by the Houston Rockets.

In a report by Yahoo! Sports, Lin had shared that he was excited to train and play with his new Lakers teammates. He particularly stated that he wanted to play alongside superstar Kobe Bryant, of whom he is a huge fan. Fans are even anticipating a return of "Linsanity" in the next season.

He said, "I am very excited to join the Lakers. I think this is a very good opportunity. I hope I can make a bigger contribution... I hope I can play a more important role."

Lin said, "Kobe wants to win and I want to win. I think Kobe wants his teammates to train hard and I will train hard. I hope he can respect me and we can collaborate well together."
