Why is Heihachi so angry? It's been a question that fans of the "Tekken" series have been asking since the first game came out on the original PlayStation and via arcade back in 1994. Now, the answer to this, as well as several other subplots revolving around the Mishima clan, will be answered in Namco Bandai's "Tekken 7."

EVO 2014 saw the launch of "Tekken 7", and game director and producer Katsuhiro Harada promises resolutions to several questions that have been on the minds of fans of the popular fighting game series. According to Gamesradar.com, "Tekken 7" will conclude the saga of the Mishima clan, while providing answers for questions such as why Heihachi threw his own son, Kazuya, into a volcano, and why is Heihachi trying to kill his grandson, Jin.

A trailer for the game is narrated by Heihachi's late wife and Kazuya's mother, Kazuni. It hints that the Devil Gene comes from Kazuni's side of the family, and has passed it on to Kazuya, which could be why Heihachi ended up killing his own wife.

Harada further went on to say that "Tekken 7" will feature character designs from guest artists who have made their names on other games. These include Mari Shimazaki of "Bayonetta," Yusuke Muzaki or "Fire Emblem Awakening" and "No More Heroes"; Ninnin of "Duel Master" and "Card Fight Vanugard"; and Kenichiro Yoshimura of "Anarchy Reigns."

K DramaStars reports that "Tekken 7" is one of three games that Harada is currently working on, and that it is built on the Unreal Engine 4. "With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it," says Harada before adding, "Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it allows us to bring 'Tekken 7' to any platform we desire."

With that in mind, Taka Kawasaki, studio head of Epic Games Japan, said that the game will come with greatly improved visuals which can be done only on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In a press release, Kawasaki said that the partnership between Namco Bandai and Epic Games is perfect for the next game because it will lead to great results.

Targeted for release in May 2015, there is no definite word yet if "Tekken 7" will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii-U, but will likely be available on PS4, Xbox One and on the PC.

Expect the return of other popular characters such as Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, King, and many others, as well as new characters to add to the "Tekken" universe.
