Is Rob Kardashian "disowning" his stepfather due to the sex change rumors?

Recently, RadarOnline reported that the troubled Kardashian scheduled a meeting with Bruce Jenner but never really showed up.

Rob was seen Sunday in Malibu, hanging out with pals after "he had called Bruce and said he would come by," according to RadarOnline's source. "Bruce didn't get his hopes up because Rob has done this so many times previously."

Hmmm, sounds like Rob's really troubled and undecided. But about what? Is it Bruce's rumored gender reassignment issues or is it about his own weight loss problems?

"In the end, Rob didn't show up, and didn't even bother to call Bruce and tell him why. Everyone in the family is obviously very worried about Rob. The friends he is hanging around aren't the best influence for him," the mole revealed further.

Rob's woes are no secret to the public and to his own family. On the show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Khloe was quoted as saying to stepbrother Brody Jenner that Rob has some "serious issues" and is in need of help.

What happens, then, if he shuns any help?

The insider added that his family is "very concerned about Rob, but there is nothing more they can do."

"Kris has tried to get him professional help, but Rob refuses any gestures. Khloé has moved out of his townhouse and is now living in her new mansion, so Rob is all alone again," the source concluded.

Sounds like trouble indeed.

If anyone could help him, it could be Bruce, as Rob does look up to him as a father figure. He said so last year, in the wake of the announcement of Bruce's split from wife of 22 years Kris Jenner.

"Bruce doesn't leave my side ever," he was quoted by The Daily Mail as saying back in October 2013. "We golf every day, we race cars, we hang out with all the guys - he's my dad. He's been in my life since I was two years old, and he's going to be in my mom's life," the sock entrepreneur added.

However, with Rob reportedly repeatedly blowing off Bruce, it looks like he's tracing a downward spiral into an even darker place in his life.

Mom Kris had previously revealed that she "cries herself to sleep over Rob," according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. This is especially after the Kardashian sibling skipped the family's Thailand getaway, which was seen as a strong gesture of his animosity with his siblings and parents.
