Although there has been no official confirmation on Taye Diggs being cast in the sequel of "Magic Mike," he has already thought of his stripper name in case he's asked.

Looks like someone's interested in getting up on that stage with Channing Tatum and company and getting his groove on, with only a flimsy piece of underwear for cover.

Last week, the 43-year-old actor appeared on late night TV show "Conan," where he spoke about rumors involving him with "Magic Mike: XXL."

"Honestly, I saw the first movie, and I loved it," Taye told host Conan O'Brien, as noted by Enstars. "I'm a huge fan of Channing Tatum's, and I was thinking and telling people, 'How can you have a movie about male strippers and you ain't got no black people in it?'"

"So I started telling people that, and then next thing you know, we're in talks. So if you guys want me to be in another movie, just talk about stuff," he added.

Good move, Taye! So he IS interested!

The actor went on to talk about his potential stripper name, after his interviewer told him what Joe Mangianello, a "Magic Mike" cast member, had suggested for Conan as a stripper name.

"If you would be Big Red, I would be Chocolate Thunder Down Under," Idina Menzel's ex joked. Will Chan approve?

Meanwhile, Channing had recently revealed that part 2 will be "very different" from the original. "I don't know if I've ever seen a sequel that is going to be this different from the first movie-in a good way," he told E! News during the past weekend's Comic-Con event.

Could it possibly be due to the fact that "Magic Mike" co-star, Alex Pettyfer, may not be reprising his role for the sequel? Alex had played a pivotal role in the film, acting as Channing's protege. In real life, if sources are to be believed, things are not as smooth with the two.

"Channing and Alex had a fight while filming. Those around them tried to mend their relationship, but Channing doesn't want anything to do with Alex," an insider told The New York Post's Page Six.

"Channing said he didn't want to do [the shoot] if Alex was there," the mole added. "Alex is known in Hollywood for being rude and difficult."

Does this mean there won't be a part 2 casting for Alex?

Channing's rep denied this rumor, however. The film's producer, Nick Wechsler, even praised the young actor, saying he was a "great pro" and "did everything that we asked for."

How about getting Taye on board with the rest of your gang, Channing? What do you think, readers?
