It was only days ago when Beyonce herself teased the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer on her Instagram account, raising speculations that the R&B diva may probably be involved in the film's soundtrack, as The Guardian suggested. This angle is pretty obvious, considering that the 15-second clip opened to the intro of one of Bey's hits, "Crazy in Love."

"The first trailer from the upcoming Fifty Shades of Gray film will get its debut on Thursday, but the Internet received a preview this weekend from an unlikely Instagram account," Mashable observed. "On Saturday, Beyoncé posted a 15-second teaser of the movie - which has been adapted from the wildly popular (and controversial) book series by E.L. James of the same name - to her Instagram page."

"It might seem strange for Beyonce to promote the trailer in this way (or even at all), but it's a smart move for the film: It's directly targeting Beyoncé's nearly 14 million Instagram followers, a large pool of which are female - the same as Fifty Shades of Gray's target audience. The teaser already has 327,000 Likes on Beyoncé's Instagram page," the site pointed out.

While the said clip didn't reveal much, Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey could be seen, as well as a peek at "a steamy bedroom scene," probably with Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele.

This must probably have whet the appetites of the novel's fans. If you're one of them, Thursday should be better for you, as the full teaser trailer will be unveiled - in a matter of hours. That's thanks to the "TODAY" show.

"Are you a 'Fifty Shades of Grey' fan? Then you've got to tune in to TODAY on Thursday, July 24," the show's official website announced. "We'll be airing an exclusive clip of the 'Fifty Shades' movie trailer. Savannah Guthrie will interview the stars of the movies, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson."

That's not all - there wil be an "exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the movie set" on the show on Friday, July 25. Natalie Morales will be speaking with members of the cast, as well as the book's author, E.L. James.

The movie has been adapted from the first book of a trilogy written by James. The said "Fifty Shades" trio of novels have since sold no less than 100 million copies, both in print and e-book. It details the relationship of "dom" Christian Grey and his "sub" Anastasia Steele, with explicit imagery of their sexual liaison.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" the movie will be in theaters on February 13 next year.
