If anyone at all is staying true to their character, it's Robert Downey Jr. Apparently, he is almost as rich as the Tony Stark character he portrays on the big screen, considering that for the second year in a row, RDJ maintained his post as the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, according to Forbes.

It's not exactly a surprise, because both his super-hero movies, "Iron Man 3" and "The Avengers," crossed the billion-dollar mark in theaters worldwide. RDJ also held out his contract for "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," due to concerns in his salary. RDJ made an estimated amount of $75 million since June last year, and roughly the same amount before that.

Following RDJ in the roster of the richest is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who made an estimated amount of $52 million. The wrestler-turned-actor is the only one who made it again to the top five richest this year. Johnson's big flicks of the year include "Hercules" and "Fast & Furious 7." He will also appear in a disaster film titled "San Andreas" next year.

Third came Bradley Cooper, who will be the voice of Rocket Raccoon on Marvel's next flick, "Guardians of the Galaxy." With an estimated amount of $46 million last year, Cooper got another Academy Awards nomination for his role in "American Hustle." With his golden boy good looks and undeniable talent, his girlfriend is one lucky woman.

Leonardo di Caprio did not win an Oscar, but he went from sixth to fourth on Forbes' top 5 list, earning $39 million for his box office success films, "The Great Gatsby" and "The Wolf of Wall Street." His portrayal of Jordan Belfort in "The Wolf of Wall Street" earned him his fourth Oscars nomination. Sadly, he did not bring home the trophy.

Finally, the "God of Asgard," Chris Hemsworth placed fifth on the list with $37 million for his solo Marvel Movie, "Thor: The Dark World" and as part of the Avengers in "Age of Ultron."

The rest of the top ten included Liam Neeson with $36 million, Ben Affleck and Christian Bale with $35 million each, Will Smith and Mark Wahlberg, who also came down with $32 milion.

To determine who will be on the list, Forbes "talk to agents, producers, lawyers and other in-the-know folks to figure out how much each celebrity earned from entertainment-related work between June 2013 and June 2014."
