It's still a while before "Star Wars Episode VII" will get to the big screen, but apparently, essential plot details have already surfaced, at least, according to a U.S. Film blog, Badass Digest.

The site boasts of exclusive details regarding the new Star Wars movie, but the question remains: How much of it is actually true?

If you really want to know, here's what they claim the new flick will be about:

A severed hand gripping a light saber falls onto a deserted planet, where it will be discovered by the new heroes, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega. Recognizing the relic, the pair decide to return it to the rightful people.

The quest then takes them to another world and they meet Han Solo and Chewbacca, who recognized the saber as Luke Skywalker's, who they haven't seen in thirty years (which roughly translates to the events of Return of the Jedi).

So the group goes on a quest to find the long-lost Jedi master, all the while when forces are building super weapons, on an ice planet not too far off.

The blog recognized the parallelism of Episode VII to "A New Hope" and saying that "Instead of R2 coming to Tatooine it's a hand falling from the sky, but the basic sweep of the story is similar, and intentionally so. But things that seem familiar may not be as familiar as you think - don't assume that every ice or desert planet in the galaxy has already been visited, if you know what I'm saying."

Disney refused to comment on the website's alleged plot, which means that it still remains unconfirmed.

The Guardian notes that if the rumors are true, Badass Digest's report contradicts with the assumption that the leads in the original series will be returning with the big roles. After all, the roster includes Adam Driver, Ingmar Bergman and Max von Sydow, whose roles Disney did confirm last May.

An official trailer has not been out yet, but director J.J. Abrams has been dangling teasers in front of the fans for a while. The best thing is that the latest one shows of a video, revealing the brand new X-Wing, which looked amazing in its new design.

More of the X-wing will be revealed in the film, as the latest installment of the "Star Wars" franchise will be released in theaters in December 2015.
