After months of waiting, fans of the highly successful Nike Hyperdunk can look forward to getting a pair soon.

The latest model of the Nike Hyperdunk 2014, will be officially released on July 16 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. The first colorway in the line will be bright mango and black. Every year, the Hyperdunk continues to improve which is why it is known as the most versatile shoe by the company and is the preferred choice of many professional and college teams all over the globe.

In a report by Nike.com, since its start in 2008, the Nike Hyperdunk has evolved much and showcased a variety of features that made it the ideal pair whether individuals are playing point guard, forward or center. Even casual users have adapted to the style, comfort, cushioning and lightweight feel of the sneakers.

Compared to the 2013 model, the new Hyperdunk 2014 looks a lot better and is more streamlined. It will be best appreciated while playing basketball where players can discover the great step-in feel that allows them to do natural moves. Performance is further enhanced with the lunarlon cushioning midsole so players have a responsive ride. The flywire technology is still present, giving players dynamic lockdown through the midfoot for jab steps and sudden breaks.

The hyperfuse material makes the shoe both durable and breathable at the same time. The focus of the design team was to make a shoe that would be good for both indoor and outdoor courts. Players located in hot areas will especially notice the enhanced breathability of the shoe advantageous. The upper features fewer layers compared to its predecessors so people should expect it to be more flexible too. The shoe also comes with a dynamic foam collar that fits around the ankle comfortably, giving full support and protection.

In a report by Wear Testers, previews of the Nike Hyperdunk 2014 were shown being worn by All-Star Paul George. More colorways are expected to arrive in the next several months such as volt and black, blue and yellow and green and volt.

The shoes will be available on general release at Nike stores and designated retail outlets and sneaker boutiques around the globe. Shoe collectors can also follow @nicekicks and @sneakernews and @solecollector on Twitter to get the latest updates and information on which stores may be holding certain sizes. The shoes will not be available on a limited basis so buyers can expect to find full size runs at certain outlets like Footlocker and Finish Line.
