"Sons of Anarchy" may be ending its run on its seventh season, but, apparently, it's not going without a veritable "bang." You may get some proof of this via the latest teaser trailer revealed by FX just recently.
"The teaser trailer is titled 'Hell Awaits' and features Jax riding his motorcycle on a dark highway," International Digital Times said. "As the shadows pass over his face we see his face replaced with the skull of the Reaper."
"Based on what we can see in the teaser, the Reaper and Jax are going to become one and the same. It's not clear if the imagery means that Jax is going to be the one to die or if he's going to kill a large amount of people. Probably a combination of both, show creator Kurt Sutter has already made it clear that this last season will be bloody," the site continued.
"Considering the violent trajectory Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) has taken in rising to president of the SAMCRO, it's safe to say things won't end well for somebody (or many somebodies) as the series reaches its finish line in 2015," Screen Rant also observed.
The bloodshed may be mostly due to the fact that Jax has lost his moral anchor with the death of Tara, who "acted as a foil to Jax, guiding him and pushing him to do what was best for their family and children, even if it conflicted with Jax's loyalty to the club," International Digital Times explained.
Sounds like Season 7 is definitely worth the watch.
Another reason to check out the show when it premieres September 3 is the fact that Kurt Cobain's better half Courtney Love will be joining the cast.
"In what marks her dramatic TV acting debut, Love will play Ms. Harrison, the straight-shooting preschool teacher of Jax's eldest son, Abel. Look for Love's educator to take a special interest in Abel - which will likely spark an interesting reaction from the boy's mother Wendy," TV Line reported last week.
"This is hardly the first time SOA has gone to the music well to cast key parts. Dave Navarro recurred as a gang member in Seasons 5 and 6. And Marilyn Manson is set to appear in Season 7 as a prison power player who has dealings with Jax," the site added.
