Even the hottest in Hollywood had to train for their films, and with the action-packed "Mockingjay" coming up, actress Jennifer Lawrence can hardly afford to gorge on ice cream and pizza. Sure, she probably has a body double to do all the difficult stunts for her, but it can't be all movie magic.

Lawrence's "Hunger Games" trainer has recently revealed in Teen Vogue Katniss Everdeen's workout regime, noting that the actress has maintained a "sunny disposition" despite her exhausting workouts.

So how does Lawrence keep fit for her blockbuster movie, and how can you be in the same awesome shape?

According to Lawrence's trainer, sports medicine doctor, Joe Horrigan, all you need is 20 minutes of workout every day, and here's the lowdown on what you should do:

Cardio to get the blood pumping:

J-Law jump ropes, but if you want, you can choose dancing instead, According to Horrigan, "running, cycling (road, mountain, classes, or simply a regular stationary bike), or various aerobic classes such as dance classes and hiking" will help. Cardio is the key to good health, after all.

Strength training for muscle building:

Since strength training helps build muscles, Horrigan advices to go on a high-intensity circuit workout. He explained, "Bodyweight squats, push-ups and sit-ups all performed in a circuit. You could also add jumping rope. If you can do any of these exercises for 20 minutes at high intensity, you will see results."

Off-Day exercises to aid recovery:

Breaks do not necessarily mean cheating on the regime by gorging on fast food. Horrigan said that J-Law had some days off, but that didn't mean she's off her workout. He shared, "We did a very low intensity workout with very low volume to let her body recover once or twice a week," Exercises like yoga on off days can help aid recovery by increasing flexibility. He also added that J-Law's training include sun salutes, reverse warriors, chair poses and planks.

BONUS: Commitment and attitude for maintenance:

Finally, you can only do so much unless you commit. Commit to your workout and change it up from time to time to really train all your muscles. And when you feel the burn, smile, and keep going. According to Horrigan, J-Law never faltered, and that's why she's successfully keeping fit. He shared, "She was never late. She never missed a workout. She never complained. She did everything that was asked of her and she usually did so with a smile."
