Have you seen the trailer for "The Flash"? It's a lengthy 5 minutes and is loaded with easter eggs, eagle-eyed fans of the DC comic book world will find the clip amusing and engaging.

Although the series will not air until October 8, much speculation and buzz have surrounded the upcoming series, thanks to its pilot episode.

"After getting to view the first episode of the Flash, I can easily say the series has me hooked," Reid Jones of Moviepilot declared. Has it got you hooked, too?

If you need one more nudge into the right direction, check out these easter eggs that you may find in episode 1 of "The Flash."

Arrow Appearance

"Later on in the episode you learn that Barry was inspired by Green Arrow to name himself the Flash after Oliver Queen used the phrase "You'll be saving people in a flash," Moviepilot said. "The entire first half of the episode was narrated by Barry up until we realized he was telling the story to Oliver, by which time the narration stopped until the end of the episode when he announced his superhero name."

S.T.A.R. Labs

This easter egg has "also appeared in 'Man Of Steel' and is connected to the origin of future Justice League member Cyborg in the clunkily titled 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice,'" SciFi Now revealed.

Ferris Air

Notice that runway scene in the show? There's a sign that says "Ferris Air Testing Facility," which is actually a Green Lantern easter egg. Den of Geek warned that this billboard flashes so quickly that you're likely to miss it if you blink.

Professor Zoom

"If you got to see the episode yourself, you could tell that there was a person in that yellow and slightly red zoom, and that my friends is Professor Zoom (probably not Zoom himself since he didn't come in the comics until later)," Moviepilot said.

Channel 52

SciFi Now noted that at some point, a news broadcast from Channel 52 appears on the screen. While this may seem like a harmless and relevant part of the story, DC fans will note that the reference to the number 52 is in homage to "a back-up strip in DC's New 52 comics that gives an overview of major events happening elsewhere in the line."

Science Showcase Magazine

There's a shot of Barry in the rain, covering his head with a Science Showcase magazine, which is a nod to the DC comics issue title that The Flash first appeared in, as pointed out by Den of Geek.
