If there's any indicator that would signal "Mockingjay: Part 1" as a blockbuster film, it would be the number of views its trailer has garnered on YouTube.

The government propaganda-like video of Donald Sutherland in character as President Snow of the fictional Panem registered 10.6 million views in its debut week, according to figures gathered by technology firm Zefr, the Hollywood Reporter said. The second trailer for "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" follows a distant second at 6.8 million views. The trailer for the World War II tank movie "Fury" with Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman, came in at third place at 4.4 million views.

There is no wonder why the latest trailer of the Suzanne Collins YA novel film adaptation has attracted lots of views. The trailer adopts the same style format of which a PSA advisory is known for. In the video, Snow appears to be blended into the stark-white visage of the teaser, and is equally clad in an all-white suit. Snow is sporting his white hair and beard brushed clean. As he talks, the teaser alternately cuts to the Panem government's mission statement.

In the trailer, Snow said, "Today we celebrate the proud men and women who live and breathe their districts. Today we are one Panem."

The Inquisitr said that the teaser is supposedly Snow's attempt to unify the now partially-split Panem, after Katniss destroys the arena in the process to fulfill the escape plan she and the remaining tributes have hatched while playing the special "Hunger Games" match.

Towards the end of Snow's speech, fans of the dystopian novel and film franchise are shown a subdued and clean-shaven Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), who, like Snow, is also decked in an all-white suit. It could be recalled that in "Catching Fire," Peeta was captured by Snow after Katniss was saved by the rebels, led by Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman), from the destroyed arena. The books dictate that Peeta was later on brainwashed to side with the Capital, and has murderous tendencies towards Katniss whenever he sees her.

Although the teaser does not reveal much of the film's heroine Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), the Inquisitr said that a full-length trailer featuring the protagonist is expected to be released later this month.

Aside from the trailer, a series of posters supposedly to back up Snow's propaganda have also been released, and features the hard workers of all districts. The representative of Katniss' district, which is District 12, is a young child in a miner's outfit holding an apple.

CBS News said "Mockingjay: Part 1" is expected to debut in theaters on November 21 this year in the U.S., and has been ranked as among the most anticipated films on Fandango's list for 2014.
