Rockstar Games just confirmed that Sony Computer Entertainment will apply a new feature for the PS4 that will also be applied to the Xbox One and PC versions of their games. According to the Examiner, an executive from the manufacturers have revealed that players can transfer their multiplayer characters to the newer versions.

This means that PS3 and Xbox 360 players can move their game avatars to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC as well. However, it is yet unclear whether or not the same will apply for the GTA 5 campaign.

According to the Examiner, however, it may be less likely, considering that single-player features have different file formats for the PS3 and Xbox 360 when compared to other platforms.

Upgrading to GTA 5 on the latest consoles will not be without perks, however, as Rockstar promised better visuals, improved frame rate, improved textures, and a higher resolution as well.

It will also be more exciting, as Rockstar North's development team added more immersion and new wildlife to Los Santos, with a heavier traffic in the area as well. GTA Online updates are also expected to be automatically included in the game's new versions as well.

According to the Epoch Times, YouTube member DomIsLive leaked details regarding GTA5 on his channel, some of which were reported by The Official Xbox Magazine Website.

Here are some leaks reported by the magazine:

Prison Van Rescue - where criminals intercept a van that is driven by the NPCs to free a gang member and take him back to the gang house. Up to 16 cops and 16 criminals can join the mission.

Funeral - a lieutenant's car is escorted through town by gang members, with the rival gang trying to destroy it.

Territory Takeover - as in the importance of territory, players can fight to take over a territory in the game, which can help produce revenues for themselves.

As interesting as these leasks seem to be, Rockstar Entertainment still has not commented on the alleged leak.

They did, however, confirm in a news release that there will be 10 new jobs for the new game versions, saying that "The newest round of Rockstar Verified GTA Online Jobs features a mixture of Land Races, Deathmatches and Captures that have caught our eye recently. Ten new Jobs have been given our stamp of approval, including Races perfect for drifting (and some of the retro rides included in The 'I'm Not a Hipster' Update), a Deathmatch on a wasted bridge and a Capture Job featuring a gang of angry hipsters stashing contraband in 24/7 stores."
