At the rate these iPhone 6 leaks are popping out, it would seem that the day the device is finally unveiled will no longer bring that extra surprise factor that makes such events an exciting one. Rather, that day would be seen as the time to find out who got their predictions right and general excalamations of "I told you so!"

Recently, another new rumor about the 6th iteration of Apple's top-selling product is making the rounds on the Web. According to Forbes, the new iPhone "is likely to be slimmer and more rounded," judging by the picture that have been leaked.

"The iPhone 6 could come with a new unspecified button on the side, which is rumoured to be the new home of the power button," the finance and business site said, based on the photos released by Nowhereelse.fr.

In addition, the said handset will also have a "flashing Apple logo on the back." This will indicate to the user when a message has been received or a call is incoming.

"Apple has traditionally shied away using a cutout logo on its smartphones, relying on one melded into the surface of the device instead," GSM Arena noted. "Now it's hypothesized that the iPad-esque cutout section could even be illuminated, and possibly used for notification alerts as well." This last statement supported what Forbes noted about the flashing logo.

"Side views reveal the familiar standard mute and elongated volume buttons on the left side, accompanied by a SIM tray slot and power/lock button on the right. The latter has been moved to the bottom half of the panel to allegedly make it more accessible due to the larger footprint mandated by the new 4.7-inch screen," GSM Arena added.

Previously, leaks have focused on the sizes of the alleged 2 versions of the iPhone. One will have a 4.7-inch display, while the other will sport a 5.5-inch screen. Both handsets will reportedly have a Sapphire glass display and a 1704 x 960 resolution. The former is already used in current models for the Touch ID Sensor feature.

As expected, Apple has not confirmed these reports.

Also, it may be possible that the rumored iWatch will be released together with iPhone 6 later this year. If this does happens, then Apple would be following what rival companies, such as Samsung and Sony, have done with their own products - launch handsets and wearables in one go.
