It's hard to believe that Christian Grey would dislike anything about his own body, given his high-flying status and power as the head of a large corporation. To be in such a position, one has to have a lot of confidence in oneself.

With that, perhaps some "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans might find it questionable that the actor playing the S&M loving tycoon would admit to actually not liking his own body. But then again, he's an actor - he can pretend to forget all about that.

"I don't like my physique," Jamie "Christian Grey" Dornan told Interview magazine in a recent interview. "Who does? I was a skinny guy growing up, and I still feel like that same skinny kid."

When he was told that he will be "will be unveiling the torso that has made him famous around the world for a movie-going audience," he said he's "still auditioning."

"I don't really have choices in the material I get. So I have to make the choices in the way I play the characters. And I'm happy to get a chance to play Christian," he revealed.

Is he implying he accepted the role with reluctance? He did say he is "happy" to do so, though.

New York Daily News noted that the actor had to intentionally prepare his body for the role by going to the gym and working on being comfortable in a suit.

"We didn't talk about particulars of the way he would move. But I'm quite awkward in a suit because I don't have an opportunity to wear a suit very often, and this is a guy who lives in a suit - the best suit," the 32-year-old said. "But when you end up in a suit for 80% of the filming process, you become pretty comfortable with it."

We'll know the result of his efforts when "Fifty Shades of Grey" hits movie theaters in February 2015.
