On May 25, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and rapper T.I. were involved in a heated argument at the Fatburger restaurant in Las Vegas.

According to Bleacher Report, the rapper approached Mayweather while he was eating then started badmouthing the boxer. It is not known what triggered the outburst, but T.I. reportedly tried to punch Floyd and their huge bodyguards immediately separated them. Afterwards, the real war began. Mayweather was seen screaming at someone. He was heard saying "Control your b*tch m*th*rf*ck*r!" A crowd of people gathered around the two. An employee of Fatburger had a minor injury from getting slashed, but refused to receive treatment.

The Las Vegas Police Department arrived at the scene minutes later, but T.I. already left.

Rapper 50 Cent uploaded a video of the altercation on his account on Instagram.

In a report by TMZ, the fight happened just a few weeks after Mayweather won a bout against Marcos Maidana in Las Vegas, upping his undefeated record to 47-0. It is still uncertain who he will be fighting next but a lot of fans are clamouring for a super fight against Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather has not yet commented on the issue, but it is expected that he will be trash talking T.I. in the next few weeks. Mayweather has also been involved in a number of fights and verbal exchanges in the past and he is not one to pass on the opportunity to get back at his opponent. T.I. has not yet commented on the issue as well.

It was not also the first time that T.I. has been involved in a scandal and considering that he was the first to throw a punch at the boxer, it seemed that he was fearless enough to understand the consequences. According to a number of sources, T.I. was angry with Mayweather due to the latter's relationship with the rapper's wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle.
