By now, you've probably read through innumerable iPhone 6 rumors and leaks, and have seen various mock illustrations and photos of some parts of the hotly anticipated gadget. However, a recent series of photographs show the alleged Apple device in its entirety, implying that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model in the pictures is, this time, the real deal.

"The images show off a newly designed iPhone (sans Apple logo) with a larger screen (longer and wider, putting it firmly into phablet territory) and a thinner form factor," Mashable observed. "In fact, when placed on top of the already ultra-slim iPhone 5S, the supposed iPhone 6 looks almost one-third thinner."

Aside from this, the model also has noticeably rounder edges, including the screen, making the display look "bulbous." The Touch ID is still there, "accented with a gold border."

All photos show the rumored iPhone 6 on off mode, which means that there's no way of knowing how the iOS looks like when running on this device. "If this really is the iPhone 6, it's probably a dummy unit (read: not operational)," the tech news site noted.

The fact that the phone was shot on the street and in an office environment shows that the device is not a cleverly photoshopped creation.

"Adding to the device's seeming authenticity are its smaller details, including what appears to be an Apple Lightning connector port and an on/off button and speaker grill similar to that of the iPhone 5S," Mashable added. "However, the device's volume buttons depart from the round aesthetic we've become accustomed to since the iPhone 4, returning to a design reminiscent of the iPhone 3GS."

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that Apple may reveal the iPhone 6 a month earlier than planned. The 4.7-inch versions may drop in stores as early as August, while the 5.5 or 5.6-inch model may be sold in September.
