A school activity in the White House has moved millions of people around the world, after a girl surprised the First Lade of the United States, Michelle Obama, by handing her the résumé of her father, who has been unemployed for the last three years.

Charlotte Bell, an extraordinary 10-year old girl, went to the White House on Thursday to participate in the annual edition of the "Take your sons and daughters to work" day, an activity in which the children of White House employees can visit their parents at work.

During the day, the First Lady met with many children, something that didn't go unnoticed by Charlotte, who surprised everyone, even their parents, with her unexpected gesture.

"My father has been unemployed for three years and I want to give you his résumé," said Charlotte when it was her turn to ask the First Lady a quetion during the event in the East Wing, according to The Associate Press, quoted by ABC.

The girl's words surprised Michelle Obama, who didn't hesitate to accept the document and then hugged Charlotte.

Moments later, the First Lady explained that "It's a little private, but she's doing something good for her father."

The video of the moment in which the girl helps her father get a job has become an Internet phenomenon and generated thousands of comments from people around the world.

According to information published by Forbes, Bell's father worked for Obama's 2012 presidential campaign and since then he has looked for politics-oriented work, so far, without success.
