The "Jurassic World" director said that the studio may be considering doing a series and also expressed interest in working on such. "If they'll have me," Colin Trevorrow remarked.

Trevorrow, the man behind "Safety Not Guaranteed," dished out a few things during his interview with Empire Magazine.

"We definitely talked about [sequels] a lot," the director/co-writer told Empire Magazine. "We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story."

Screen Rant notes that although "Jurassic World" is clearly not the first "Jurassic" movie, the 4th movie does not really string together with the previous dino films. "You can see what Trevorrow means, as 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' and 'Jurassic Park III' - love them, hate them, or something in between - don't really form a complete story with the original Jurassic Park," says the outlet.

As a matter of fact, Trevorrow spilled that some characters in the upcoming "Jurassic" movie were created in a way that does not shut off possible appearance in future films. "I wanted to create a relationship there that could be memorable and potentially carry on to future films," the director spoke of Omar Sy's character which will be Chris Pratt's bestfriend. "They work together and have some pretty cool action scenes together," he says of the duo.

Other than a potential "Jurassic" series, Trevorrow also revealed a bit of the plot of "Jurassic World" in his Empire Magazine interview.

"It's about alpha dominance and the fact that humans have been the alpha species for a very long time", he explained, "and so now we've brought back another that happened to be the alpha species during its time, and we have to co-exist, so what is that relationship?"

"Jurassic World," the 4th dino movie, is set to hit the big screen June 12, 2015 and stars Omar Sy, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, and Vincent D'Onofrio, among others.
