The first live elimination of 'The Voice' had two aspiring singers packing. But just who were sent home? And who made the cut?

The Top 12 performed with their respective teams for the first ever live elimination show of 'The Voice' Season 6. The first set, Kat Perkins, Delvin Choice and Christina Grimmie, under People's Sexiest Man Alive, performed Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer." The opening production was immediately followed with results, keeping Team Usher's Josh Kaufman and Team Adam's Kat Perkins on the show.

After the break, two more aspiring singers were confirmed to be part of the Top 10. Team Shakira's Kristen Merlin and Team Blake's Audra McLaughlin will be joining Kaufman and Perkins for Week 2's Live Shows. Shakira sang her new single, "Empire," in a controversial sheer body stocking outfit over not-entirely-opaque undergarments, notes TV Line.

Two more singers were announced to be safe after Shakira's number - Team Adam's Delvin Choice and Team Blake's Jake Worthington. The result reveal was followed by Team Blake's rendition of "Put Some Drive In Your Country" by Travis Tritt. Zap2It says that Worthington, joined by McLaughlin and Sisaundra Lewis, did "markedly better" on the song compared to his previous performance.

Lewis, Bria Kelly from Team Usher and Team Adam's Grimmie have made it to the cut as announced by Carson. Two from Team Shakira, Dani Moz and Tess Boyer plus Team Usher's T.J. Wilkins are at the bottom three and took the "Singing for Our Lives" portion of the show quite literally.

Wilkins performed "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain while Dani Moz took to Adele and sang "Turning Tables." Tess Boyer did her own rendition of Kelly Clarkson's "Dark Side."

With "save tweets" and results in, Team Shakira's Boyer completed 'The Voice' Season 6 Top 10 while Moz and Wilkins were sent home. Team Shakira has 2 members on the top 10, as well as Team Usher. Team Adam and Team Blake have 3 singers each.
