Singer Juan Gabriel might leave the Las Vegas hospital on Monday, April 21 after returning on the weekend for non-serious complications; according to Mexican newspaper El Universal.

Through a press release quoted by the newspaper, it was announced that the "Divo of Juárez" is in a resting period to recover in his house in Mexico, an announced a temporary retirement from the media and even social networks.

After suffering from pneumonia which forced him to check into a hospital after his performance at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the singer said that the cancelled performances would be rescheduled, and asked the affected fans to wait for the confirmation of the new dates on his website.

Through his Twitter account, Juan Gabriel thanked his fans for their worry, announcing his temporary retirement from social networks.

The 64-year-old singer was interned on Monday 14 by a close friend. "The Divo of Juárez is very sad because he had to cancel his upcoming performances in Los Angeles on April 16 and 17; San José on the 19th and two more in Central and South America," reported Univisión. "He's very sad because he was very excited with his tour, giving it his all... Being sick the only thing he's worried about is letting his audience down. He's only thinking about his concerts and recovering quickly," the friend added.
