UFC Champ Ronda Rousey has reportedly commented that if her potential opponent, Cris "Cyborg" Justino, joins the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the latter could destroy the entire sport as far as the women's division of mixed martial arts (MMA) is concerned, USA Today wrote.

Ronda Rousey is set to defend her title against Alexis Davis in Las Vegas on July 5, 2014. She talked about three potential opponents on April 18, 2014 namely Gina Carano, Holly Holm and Justino. According to Yahoo! Sports, Rousey claimed that she never failed a drug test in her 13-year career. She said that steroid use should be tested more frequently especially in the women's division. She also suggested that fighters must be banned from the UFC after failing just a single test.

Rousey accused Justino of using steroids saying, "I've said before, I don't care if she's injecting horse semen into her eyeballs, I'll fight her, but that's just my personal decision... This girl has been on steroids for so long and has been injecting herself for so long that she's not even a woman anymore. She's an 'it'. It's not good for the women's division. It's not good at all."

The women's division champion added, "If she comes in the UFC and I beat her and then I retire and become an action movie star, then the UFC is still going to be stuck with her. The division could die."

In a report by Complex Sports, Justino was suspended for one year and fined $2,500 after her fight against Hiroko Yamanaka in 2011 for testing positive for stanozolol, an anabolic steroid frequently used by bodybuilders. According to Justino, she merely used the drug to increase her weight for the fight. Rousey did not agree to it at all, describing such drug use as "criminal".

Aside from lambasting Justino's alleged steroid abuse, Rousey shared that it was a dream to fight Gina Carano and complimented Holly Holm, a former boxing champion. She also discussed Davis' kickboxing and grappling skills.
